Femme Connection is here to deliver the best shopping experience we can. We aim to support you in your online shopping journey and want to ensure you’re happy with your purchase and delivery experiences.

So, once you’ve explored our range of fashion clothes for women and are ready to buy your maxi dresses, casual tops, and jackets & coats, you might have some questions about all the usual things like our returns policy, exchanges, order cancellations and vouchers.

Our FAQs page is here to answer all your questions, and it’s always a good idea to read it so that you can make informed purchases.
If you can’t find your answer here, feel free to log a request in our Contact Us page, or click our chat icon and leave a question, and we’ll get back to you.
Note, a separate Shipping page houses our FAQs about shipping and deliveries, so head there if you want to know how long you should expect to wait for a dress to arrive.

In the meantime, there are some tools available to help ensure you get the right item and avoid needing to exchange or return it!

You can use our online quiz to help you narrow down the options between different styles, fabrics and prints. This way you see only the types of garments that are right for you, and you don’t buy something with the wrong type of sleeve or with a hem too long or short.

Also, you can read customer reviews of products to see what others thought of their purchase. (You don’t only want to find trendy clothes for women. You want to know if people enjoy wearing them!) We also recommend that you read the garment’s description so that you have a full picture of what you’re ordering.

Finally, check our garment care page, so that you know how to care for your fabric when washing and drying it. You don’t want something unexpected to happen after you wash an item, so be sure you understand the fabric and its care.


WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE

You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from FEMME Connection if the item is:
(a) faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it; or(b) not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or(c) not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would,
And you return the item within a reasonable time after purchase and provide FEMME Connection with proof of purchase, such as your original receipt or bank statement. If you do not return the item within a reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund of the purchase price, but you will be entitled to exchange the goods.

FEMME Connection reserves the right to ask you to demonstrate that you did not cause or create the fault in the item.
If you are entitled to a refund but you would prefer to exchange the item FEMME Connection is happy to exchange or give you a gift card instead of a refund.

If you wish to return any item(s) you have purchased, you can either return the item(s) via post to our online store or in person to a Femme Connection store within Australia within 30 days from the date of delivery.
Original postage costs will not be reimbursed, nor will return postage costs, unless the item(s) are faulty or not as ordered. In this instance, postage will be incurred by Femme Connection. Please contact customer service to organize prepaid postage.
We encourage you to return your parcel via registered or traceable postal services as all returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by Femme Connection.

'CHANGE OF MIND POLICY' - ONLINE PURCHASE ONLY
FEMME Connection is not legally obliged to give refunds simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.
However, under our own policy if you simply change your mind, we do offer a refund for most item provided that:

  • you return the item within 30 days from the date delivered; and
  • the item is in the original condition and unworn; and
  • all original labels and tickets are attached to the item; and
The change of mind policy does NOT apply to purchase of the following items:
  • earrings
  • cosmetics
  • lingerie; or
  • hosiery
  • face masks
  • clearance items

HOW DO I RETURN ITEMS PURCHASED ONLINE?

RETURN IN STORE

  • You can physically return your item in one of our FEMME Connection retail stores provided that:
    • you return the item within 30 days from the date delivered; and
    • the item is in the original condition and unworn; and
    • all original labels and tickets are attached to the item; and
    • you provide an original FEMME Connection tax invoice as proof of purchase.
  • You can find your nearest store online by visiting our store locator.
  • Please note that refunds must be credited via your original method of payment and can't be issued in store. Return and refund process can take up to 30 working days. Any delivery costs incurred for the order are not refundable. You will receive an email notification once the return has been processed.​
  • There are no returns on face masks, pierced jewelry, underwear, bodysuits / leotards or swimwear. This merchandise is final sale and cannot be refunded, exchanged or credited unless it meets the STATUTORY RIGHTS outlined by the ACCC.

RETURN ONLINE

  • Click here to start your return.
  • Items can be returned provided that:
    • you return the item within 30 days from the date delivered (Postage payable by customer) ; and
    • the item is in the original condition and unworn; and
    • all original labels and tickets are attached to the item; and
  • Return and refund process can take up to 30 working days from the day you post the parcel. You will receive and email notification once the parcel has been received and processed.
  • Any delivery costs incurred for the order are not refundable.

WRONG SIZE?

EXCHANGE IN STORE
  • You can exchange your item in one of our FEMME Connection retail stores provided that:
    • you return the item within 30days from the date delivered; and
    • the item is in the original condition and unworn; and
    • all original labels and tickets are attached to the item; and
    • you provide an original FEMME Connection tax invoice as proof of purchase.
  • You can find your nearest store online by visiting our store locator.
  • *Exchanges are subject to availability.
  • Please note that refunds must be credited via your original method of payment and can't be issued in store.

EXCHANGE ONLINE
  • We are unable to process exchanges at the online distribution center. However, we can offer a refund provided that:
    • you return the item within 30 days from the date delivered; and
    • the item is in the original condition and unworn; and
    • all original labels and tickets are attached to the item; and
  • Return and refund process can take up to 30 working days from the day you post the parcel. You will receive and email notification once the parcel has been received and processed.
  • Any delivery costs incurred for the order are not refundable.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

Unfortunately, once your order has been placed, we are unable to make changes to your order. However, once you have received your goods you can return them for a refund. For full details please see our Returns policy.

CAN I RETURN A GIFT CARD?

FEMME Connection gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
