Galentine’s Day is all about celebrating yourself and your gal pals, without the romance stuff. It can involve indulgences like gifts and day spas, or can be just a plain pyjama party or brunch out with your ladies.

Whilst Galentine’s Day may have had its origins in TV comedy (see more on the auspicious day here), it has found a firm base in popular culture and increasing numbers of women celebrate it. It’s about empowerment, and reminds us we don’t need a romantic date to indulge and feel special.
